This years ASA partner at "The Pitt" is my chapter of LXA. We built a new teeter totter which is safer for the ladies. I sent this into my IHQ for our C & C Oct. issue. They are expecting the largest amount of money for the ASA Charity! 8) Posted in the school paper!

Greeks working together at its best! :)

This sounds like a cute event, but I'm a little unclear - I've helped with a Trike-a-thon with a pre-school, but it involved kids doing the triking. Who's teetering in this? The ASA ladies?

LOL, it is simple, they sit on a teeter totter 24/7 for 72 hours at their house in the front yard, rain or not and just go up and down! This year as I said, ASA asked ASA to be partners. LXA built them a new teeter totter which was safer and went up and down with them. Some sore butts were had by all!
As I understand it, T-Shirts were made with sponsers on the back and with my guys help, they expect the biggest $ event ever.

We used to do a hot-tub-a-thon on our front lawn for Ronald McDonal House. Had a Sorority come and join us. 72 hours in the tub, got sponsers and made a good sum of money for the charity! Did it in the winter so the steam would go off of it! Put a big sheet of plywood to list the sponser. Oh, Hell Yes, had a lot of local TV and Radio to put on the news!! I want them to get back on that again soon! 8)

Have not heard back on how the event turned out, but ASA thought they would have the biggest event they ever had with my guys being their partners. I sent this to my IHQ for the next Cross & Cresent for Oct.

LOL, it is not that we are not close as ASA and LXA houses are across the street from each other. ASA Regional is married to the brother who built our house and Brenda has him refirb one room a year, + many Alums daughters went ASA! 8)

Finally found out that they garnered $300.00. May not sound like much for having butts going up and down for that long on a wooden seat!
But, that is $300.00 more for a charity event that they would not have had. 8)
